A new poster featuring Sonakshi Sinha has been released today, and her simplicity is stealing hearts. The beautiful actor who is essaying the character of Satya in the upcoming period drama. Kalank producer Karan Johar took to his twitter handle to share the latest picture of Sonakshi and wrote, “She holds a world of emotions in her eyes. Meet #Satya in cinemas on 17th April. #Kalank @sonakshisinha.”

Kalank is based on a story set in pre-independent India. It is a tale that talks about a royal family and how their stories are unfolded and intertwined. As partition nears, the truth becomes more transparent. As can be seen in the teaser, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan’s undying love catches the undivided attention. The Abhishek Verman directorial also stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit in pivotal roles. The film is special to Karan Johar as it was one of the last projects which his father Yash Johar had worked upon. The film is slated to hit the theatres on April 17, 2019.
