Late legendary filmmaker Raj Kapoor's wife Krishna Raj Kapoor passed away on October 1, 2018. The family members confirmed the news that it was due to cardiac arrest. According to reports, the 87-year-old had been complaining of breathlessness for some time. Krishna Raj Kapoor breathed her last at 5 am this (Monday) morning. While granddaughter, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni confirmed the sad news by taking to Instagram to post picture with her Dadi and an emotional note that read, "I love you- I will always love you - RIP dadi," son Randhir Kapoor, while speaking to PTI, said, "My mother passed away at about 5 am today due to cardiac arrest... old age was another factor. We are deeply saddened by her demise."
While condolences started pouring in soon after the demise of Krishna Raj Kapoor, many celebrities have arrived to pay their last respects to Krishna Raj Kapoor at her residence in Mumbai.

Krishna Raj Kapoor, who was born on December 30, 1930, married Raj Kapoor in May 1946.
