Kader Khan, the popular Bollywood actor and dialogue writer, is no longer with us. The veteran star had been in Canada with his family for the past few years, and as per reports, he was not in good health. Kader Khan had been suffering from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy and was earlier admitted to a hospital in Toronto after he complained of breathlessness. There, the actor breathed his last, leaving the entire Bollywood in a pall of gloom on New Year's. He was 81. As an actor, Kader Khan started off in supporting and villain roles before making that great transition to comedy. He was also a very much popular dialogue writer in the '80s and some of the Amitabh Bachchan's superhits owe their powerful dialogues to him. So it is nothing surprising that it was Big B who was one of the first Bollywood celebs to tweet about Kader Khan's demise.

Even when Kader Khan had not been keeping well, Amitabh Bachchan had tweeted about praying for his health. His tweet had read, "Kader Khan, actor-writer of immense talent, lies ill in hospital. Prayers and duas for his well-being and recovery. Saw him perform on stage, welcomed him and his prolific writing for my films, great company, a Libran and many may not know, taught Mathematics." Union Minister and former television actress, Smriti Irani has also mourned the loss of the legend on Twitter. She wrote,
If you were a late 80s-90s kid who watched Hindi films, chances are you encountered the magic of Kader Khan. Never had the privilege of meeting him but if I ever had I would say ‘ thank you for the laughter, thank you for your craft’ #RIPKaderKhan
