While in India Kabir Singh is eyeing to become the highest grossing film of the year by beating Uri - The Surgical Strike, in Australia it has already become the highest grossing Indian film of the year by raking in A$ 959,994.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Hindi directorial debut Kabir Singh is having an unbelievable run at the Indian box office since day 1. The film starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani has been in the news for the wrong reasons lately, however, that seems to have helped in boosting the film's collection further. We say so because after leaving behind Salman Khan's Bharat in the box office race, the romantic drama has now beaten the lifetime business of Kick and Chennai Express. Yes, you heard that right. In fact, Kabir Singh is faring so well that it will soon become the highest grossing film of 2019, beating Vicky Kaushal's Uri - The Surgical Strike. He also tweeted, "#KabirSingh biz at a glance...Week 1: ₹ 134.42 cr, Week 2: ₹ 78.78 cr. Weekend 3: ₹ 22.52 cr. Total: ₹ 235.72 cr. India biz. ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTER." Interestingly, Shahid's latest offering is not just minting money in India but also overseas.
