Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advan's first film together Kabir Singh has turned out to be a massive blockbuster already. The film is getting cash registers ringing since day 1 and has already broken one too many records at the Indian box office. Kabir Singh, which arrived in cinema halls on June 21, surpassed the lifetime collection of Salman Khan's Bharat in just 13 days. And now Sandeep Reddy Vanga's directorial venture is swiftly moving towards the Rs 250 crore mark at the domestic box office. In fact, Shahid starrer could soon become the highest grossing film of the year by beating Vicky Kaushal's military drama Uri - The Surgical Strike. Kabir Singh Box Office Collection Day 15: Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani's Film Remains Steady on Third Friday, Mints Rs 218.60 Crore

Kabir Singh has been in theatres for over two weeks now and so far it has raked in Rs 226.11 crore in India which is a humongous figure considering the movie has been receiving a lot of flak for being misogynistic. Yes, though Shahid has been lauded for his performance in the remake of Telugu hit Arjun Reddy, the romantic drama has ruffled many feathers across India. However, that hasn't stopped Shahid and Kiara's film from performing well at the ticket windows.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to the microblogging site Twitter a while back and revealed the updated figures saying, "#KabirSingh continues its dream run... Is back in form on [third] Sat...
