Vidyut Jammwal's new release Junglee had a decent opening and its total collections after the first weekend is equally fair. The movie received some harsh reviews from the critics and the actor's performance was the only applause-worthy factor in it. However, with a decent opening of Rs 3 crore, the movie shows potential for average performance and its second week will be crucial to land a solid figure. Popular trade analyst, Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter account to reveal Sunday collections of this action drama. He tweeted saying, #Junglee picks up on Day 3... Does lower than expected in its opening weekend, but Day 3 biz gives hope... Mass circuits are good/decent... Needs to maintain the pace on weekdays to cover lost ground... Vidyut returned to the big screen after a gap of two years and his fans were slightly disappointed over less of action scenes in Junglee. Nevertheless, let's hope for it to pick up the pace in its second week that will ensure a good total. Meanwhile, the actor is gearing for Commando 3.
