John Abraham's Batla House is a Prequel to Arjun Kapoor's India's Most Wanted - Here's How
It's only after you have seen both these movies that you find the connection between John Abraham's Batla House and Arjun Kapoor's India's Most Wanted. And just in case you have watched them and yet trying hard to figure out the connection, we have the answer waiting for you inside the article.
John Abraham's Batla House continues with its decent performance at the Indian box office despite facing a severe clash from Akshay Kumar's Mission Mangal. The movie that revolves around the very infamous Batla House encounter that stirred a controversy sees John playing the role of Delhi DCP, Sanjeev Kumar Yadav. The story dates back to the time when Delhi police were hunting for the mastermind behind numerous blasts in our country. And the same connection indirectly links the project to Arjun Kapoor's India's Most Wanted which released in May 2019.
Now when we say the movie was a prequel, we mean it as a coincidence. Both the projects were helmed by different directors and produce under different banners hence the 'coincidence' part. While John's movie was all about nabbing the terrorists who were responsible for bomb blasts, Arjun's movie revolved around grabbing the leader of a terrorist group, Indian Mujahedeen, responsible for funding and aiding those same attacks.
Now, what's the connection you may ask. Well, it's only towards the end in IMW (India's Most Wanted) when Arjun nabs Yasin Bhatkal - the brain behind these attacks that he asks his accomplice for his identity. His aid then introduces himself as Faizullah Akhtar, who managed to escape from the Batla House encounter. Even John's movie mentions two names who went missing after the incident and how cops are still trying to locate them. They even highlight 'Bhatkal brothers' throughout the movie who are secretly orchestrating these terror attacks in India.
The scene that we are talking about
