John Abraham’s legal brawl with Prerna Arora has become the biggest news in tinsel town. The last time we heard the producer lady and her company KriArj Entertainment in the news, was when she slapped a legal notice on Kedarnath director Abhishek Kapoor. Now, John’s film ‘Parmanu’ that is co-produced by him under JA Entertainment has got delayed. The development happened after Abraham terminated his company's partnership with Kriarj Entertainment, alleging material breaches, including non-payment, and said it has no rights over the film anymore. In an interview to Mumbai Mirror, the Dhoom actor revealed that he has support from the industry and that he will never cheat.

When asked about movie’s final release date, the 45-year-old actor said that he wanted to release the film on May 11, the the 20th anniversary of the nuclear tests in Pokhran. However, Karan Johar-Meghna Gulzar’s Alia Bhatt starrer Raazi has blocked the date, hence, he settled for May 4.

Talking about it, he said, “Karan is a friend and I believe in honouring relationships and commitments. Many people from the industry have congratulated me for belling the cat and while they may not support me openly because they don’t want to jeopardize their money and films, I know they are with me. For me nothing is more important than my honesty and credibility and that of my production house. I have never faced such a situation before as a producer or an actor but I can fight my own battles. I can go broke but I won’t cheat anyone. They are desperate to settle the matter out of court but I want the law to take its course.”

Earlier, Kriarj said in a response that JA Entertainment's decision was "invalid and illegal". "Please note that the said termination is illegal and invalid. Our rights in the film as a joint producer/presenter and owner of all rights are fully secured, we have always fulfilled all our commitments till date and have clear intent to continue doing so," Kriarj said.

Now, that John has clearly stated that he has backing from the people from the industry, we wonder how the case turns out to be. Do let us know who’s side you are on in the comments section below.
