New Delhi [India], January 12: John Abraham is all geared to return to the big screen with his upcoming film 'Romeo Akbar Walter' (RAW). The film also features Sikander Kher and is set to arrive in theatres on April 12, 2019. Notably, the actor has had a good run in the box office the last few years with both Paramanu and Satyamev Jayate being well received by the audience.
The film was supposed to release earlier, however, it faced many issues initially. Prabhas' Saaho Will Clash With Akshay Kumar's Mission Mangal and John Abraham's Batla House on August 15, 2019.
Taking to Twitter, film critic Taran Adarsh announced the film's release, writing, "Release date finalised... #RomeoAkbarWalter #RAW to release on 12 April 2019... Mouni Roy, who too is a part of the venture too posted about it on Twitter.
The film, being directed by Robbie Grewal, is John Abraham's second collaboration with producer Ajay Kapoor after Parmanu.
The thriller film is set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971 and is said to be inspired by true events.
