John Abraham has finally addressed his heated exchange with a journalist at the Vedaa trailer launch. The actor, known for his calm demeanour, explained that he felt provoked and believed the journalist was intentionally trying to upset him. He expressed frustration with the current state of trailer launch events and questioned the quality of entertainment journalism in India. During a conversation with Ranveer Allahbadia, John candidly said, "I know that one person was planted there to rile me up, to antagonise me, to make me angry. And I want to say that they won and I lost because I got angry." Furthermore, criticising how trailer events are managed these days, he lamented the decline of entertainment journalism in India, declaring it as being 'finished' and no longer up to par with its previous standards. "I don’t like trailer launches because you time travel 20 years back, the same journalists, the same absurd questions, no one is asking the right questions, and entertainment journalism in India, according to me, is finished," he stated.

FYI, John Abraham had lashed out at a reporter during the Vedaa trailer launch. When questioned about why he continues to take on similar action roles, the actor lost his temper and responded by saying he would call out bad questions and 'idiots.'

John Abraham Loses His Temper

Directed by Nikkhil Advani, Vedaa also stars Sharvari Wagh and Tamannaah Bhatia, among others. The film is scheduled for release on August 15, and it will compete with Stree 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, and Khel Khel Mein, featuring Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu.
