Jim, who has appeared in several Bollywood films to date, made his debut as an antagonist in Ram Madhvani's 2016 movie, Neerja starring Sonam Kapoor in the lead role. In the biographical film, Jim portrayed the role of a cold-blooded hijacker showcasing his ability to easily play complex characters with ease. He went on to win several awards for his impactful debut including the Zee Cine Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role and IIFA Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role.
