Highest Grossing Opening Weekend in Hindi Cinema
Jawan's first day box office collection raked in a whopping Rs 75 crore which was the biggest opening day for a Hindi film. Jawan isn't big only in India but also overseas, as the film's worldwide collection was Rs 129 crore on its opening day. During its weekend Jawan shook the box office to its core when it crossed Rs 200 crore worldwide in only two days.
Fastest to Cross Rs 100 Crore
SRK's blockbuster film also became the fastest film to cross Rs 100 crore. What are the numbers, you ask? Well, Jawan collected Rs 46.23 crore in India, and gained a worldwide gross of Rs 129.6 crore in just two days. While Pathaan had also crossed Rs 100 crore in the same amount of time, its domestic box office collection on day two was Rs 123 crore.
Fastest to Cross Rs 250 crore in India
Jawan overtook Gadar 2, KGF 2, Baahubali 2, and SRK's very own film Pathaan to become the fastest movie to cross Rs 250 crore in India. Other movies like Tiger Zinda Hai, Dangal and more managed to achieve this on Day 10, so this is quite the impressive feat for Hindi cinema.
Fastest to Cross Rs 500 Crore Worldwide
After four days of its release, the film now stands at a whopping Rs 520.79 crore worldwide making it the highest weekend collection ever. Highest Single Day Earnings Ever for Hindi Film
Perhaps the most grand achievement of them all, SRK's Jawan gained the title for the highest single day earnings of any Hindi film ever. In the Tamil and Telugu language dubs, the film gained Rs 34.08 crore, and Rs 252.08 crore in Hindi.
