Janmashtami is here and the whole nation is celebrating the festival with the flavour of enthusiasm. The Twitterati, as well as the celebs, have already gone down the lane of nostalgia. The latest personality was legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar. The nightingale of India recently shared a memorable song themed on the occasion, dedicated to Lord Krishna, sung by herself. She also wished her fans for the festival.
The much-loved singer tweeted, "नमस्कार. आप सबको श्रीकृष्ण जन्माष्टमी की बहुत बधाई और मंगलकामनाएँ." She also shared the song 'Mara Re Girdhar Gopal-Meera Bhai Bhajan' with her wishes. Mangeshkar has sung the variety of spiritual and religious song in her long successful career and this one remains one of the most memorable ones.

Meanwhile, Bollywood is all set to give us another story based on Radha-Krishna, and this will be presented to us by Imtiaz Ali. "I have always been fascinated by the eternal love story of Radha and Krishna. In all of the Indian folklore, I know of no other story, which is so intensely personal and yet has such an epic scale. It has been my dream to step into the world of Radha Krishna, " he announced. We are eager to see if we get more such soulful songs in the director's masterpiece going ahead!
