The big wait will finally come to an end as Janhvi Kapoor's first look from her Gunjan Saxena biopic will be released by the makers on August 29, 2019. The movie helmed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions revolves around an IAF pilot who was honoured with the Shaurya Chakra for evacuating soldiers injured in the 1999 Kargil War.
We suggest you start the countdown for tomorrow (August 29) as Karan Johar is all set to unveil Janhvi Kapoor's first look from her next project. The movie helmed by Dharma Productions is a biopic on the life of IAF pilot, Gunjan Saxena and the Dhadak actress is set to play the lead in the same. The production house took to its Twitter account to make this big announcement and our excitement level is already at its peak.
"We are proud to be telling the true story of Flight Lt. Gunjan Saxena, India's first Air Force woman officer who went to war - on the big screen. Stay tuned, first look coming up tomorrow morning!" they tweeted while making us anxious about Janhvi's next big Bollywood outing. Though the star kid is busy shooting for her numerous projects these days, this would only mark her second release since her debut last year.

It was essential for us to be aware of Gunjan Saxena's achievements and we are glad for Karan chose such a challenging tale to tell. Janhvi will play the IAF pilot who was honoured with the Shaurya Chakra, for evacuating soldiers injured in the 1999 Kargil War. The movie is tentatively titled Kargil Girl.
