In July 2019, Janhvi Kapoor will complete one year in Bollywood. The actress made her debut with Dharma Productions' Dhadak in 2018. Since then, her loyal fans have been eagerly waiting for her next outing. The pictures from the sets of her film, Roohi Afza are only going to make the wait tougher for them. Janhvi is starring opposite Rajkummar Rao in Dinesh Vijan produced horror comedy. She is currently in Uttarakhand shooting for the film, in which she reportedly plays dual roles. Roohi Afza would be Rajkummar Rao's second horror comedy after Stree. There is quite a lot of horror films coming out in Bollywood. We should also be looking forward to Sunny Leone's KokaKola. Not to forget, Vicky Kaushal is also starring in a horror film, Bhoot Part 1: The Haunted Ship. Salman Khan has also registered the title Aadamkhor, which sounds like an apt title for a horror film. But there have been no updates about the project other than title registration. Akshay Kumar is also busy shooting for the horror comedy, Laaxmi Bomb, with Kiara Advani.

Janhvi Kapoor has also been roped in to play the lead in Karan Johar's directorial, Takht, which is expected to go on floors by December 2019. The actress will also be seen in a biopic on Kargil War veteran Gunjan Saxena, one of India's first prominent IAF pilots. Rumour has it that Janhvi will also play the female lead in Dharma's Dostana 2, which stars John Abraham and Rajkummar Rao as male leads.
