Bollywood has not yet come with the terms of the sudden demise of late Bollywood superstar Sridevi. Her accidental death in a bathtub in Dubai has left everyone in a state of shock even now. When her fans are still to get over the incident, how can her daughter? Well, the actress-daughter, Janhvi Kapoor who recently debuted with ‘Dhadak’ confessed that she is yet to come with the terms with her mother’s death. She even revealed that she instantly wanted to resume the shoot for the film just the next day after Sridevi’s cremation.
Speaking to Filmfare, the glamorous diva told, “No. I haven't got around the acceptance stage yet. It's just that there hasn't been time or I haven't allowed myself the time to come to terms with everything. There's a stage of denial that we're all going through. I wanted to shoot the next day (after the cremation). But the shoot got cancelled. I was like, No, I must go back, I need to be on the set.”
Janhvi also said that she would not be able to sustain the loss, had it not been Dhadak. Adding more about it, she said, “I thought I was going to lose my mind if I didn't do that. And I would have, promise you, if I didn’t have Dhadak. If I didn't have the opportunity to act or be in front of the camera, there would have been no purpose in life to keep me going.”
We hope that she gets all the strength and love to get along with life with head held high. Meanwhile, she is slaying on various magazine covers, latest being that of this same publication. We cannot wait to see her a new film soon. Do let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
