Janhvi Kapoor’s debut movie, Dhadak, is giving everyone the right feels. Despite the comparison between Dhadak and Sairat, one cannot deny that she is looking dazzling on the silver screen like a true diva. Now, being in the limelight is not a new thing for the Kapoor girl. She constantly tagged along with her mom and late actress Sridevi and father Boney Kapoor. We might not have noticed it earlier, but Janhvi has even handed over an award to none other than Shah Rukh Khan!
In a throwback video, we can see little Janhvi tagged along with Boney Kapoor on the stage to give away the ‘best actor’ award. SRK got the award for his movie ‘Devdas’ and presenters Boney and Preity Zinta made the little Kapoor hand over the trophy to Shah Rukh Khan. Watch the adorable video here.
Talking about her childhood and growing up years in her first ever interview, she said, “My attendance in school was 30 per cent. I was always travelling with my parents. My education was on the sets. I would do well in history and English but beyond that I just about passed. After I finished school I wanted to do a bunch of courses—art history in Florence, fashion in London and acting in Los Angeles. So I started with acting, and soon I knew this is it, this is what I need to do.”
We hope that she gets all the love from the audience for her first ever film in Bollywood. She will be romancing Ishaan Khattar in this adaptation of Marathi film ‘Sairat’, directed by Shashank Khaitan. The film is slated to release on July 20 this year.
