We really feel for Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor, we really do. Losing a parent so early in your life is a tragedy no one wants to go through ever in their life. These girls lost their doting mother (and Bollywood's eternal diva) Sridevi, on February 24. Sridevi had passed away in a hotel in UAE with 'accidental drowning' being given as the reason. We can only imagine how big of a tragic setback this must be for the Kapoor family, especially for Janhvi and Khushi, as they were so close to their mother. Janhvi, especially, is having her 21st birthday just days after her mother's demise, and also she is having her debut releasing this year. So imagine the trauma she is going through right now!
But Janhvi is made is up of a special strength. She did celebrate her birthday this year, but she chose to do at an old age home, cutting the cake in front of the inmates there and spending time with them. She was dressed quite simply for the occasion and was seen regaling the women of the old age home.

Earlier Janhvi Kapoor had posted a birthday message for her followers on her social media account, that read, “On my birthday, the only thing I ask of all of you is that you love your parents. Cherish them and devote yourself to making them feel that love. They have made you.” Touching!
Janhvi will be making her debut with Dhadak, opposite Ishaan Khattar. It is an official remake of the Marathi blockbuster, Sairat, and is produced by Karan Johar. Dhadak is directed by Shashank Khaitan and is all set to release on July 20.
