On July 25 a 3-year-old girl who was sleeping besides her mother, on the platform of Tatanagar Railway Station, was abducted, raped and beheaded. This atrocity committed against the toddler has shook the nation, and each and every one are demanding for justice. One of the celebs who has reacted to this incident is Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma. The 31-year-old tweeted demanding for justice for the 3-year-old and severe punishment for the accused. As per a report in TOI, the victim was kidnapped by Rinku Sahu (one of the accused) around 11.30pm from platform number one. He took the 3-year-old to the fabrication yard of ISWP company, which is 4km from the railway station. Sahu then called his accomplice Kailash Kumar and they raped the child. When the child started screaming, Rinku Sahu beheaded her and dumped her body behind the boundary wall.

On July 26 the mother of the 3-year-old lodged a missing complaint with the Tatanagar Government Railway Police.
