Parineeti Chopra and Sidharth Malhotra starrer Jabariya Jodi is all set to release next year in May. Ekta Kapoor took to social media to announce the official release date of the movie which is May 17, 2019. In the new motion poster, both Sid and Pari are seemingly high on craziness and how! Besides, it is such a delight to see them together after Hasee Toh Phasee... Truly zabardast, we say! Will the jabariya jodi spew magic on the big screen? The plot of Jabariya Jodi revolves around forced marriage. Speaking of Jabariya Jodi, producer Sanjeev K Jha had earlier revealed, "We always knew such forced marriages happen, but we didn’t know the magnitude of it. I was surprised to see the official data that said that more kidnappings happened in Bihar for the purpose of forced marriage than ransom. It was an eye-opener. It’s hard to believe that such bizarre practices happen in our vicinity even now,” in a statement shared by him.

The film also stars Aparshakti Khurrana, Sanjay Mishra, Neeraj Sood, Gopal Dutt, Javed Jaffrey Chandan and Roy Sanyal. Produced by Ekta Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures and Shailesh Singh’s Karma Media Net, the fllm is directed by Prashant Singh.
