So far the year has been quite fruitful for Bollywood with many films getting cash registers ringing big time and also breaking records at the box office. However, at the same time, a lot of films have also failed to work their magic at the ticket windows. Last, to last week, Sonakshi Sinha starrer Khandaani Shafakhana came out but couldn't impress the audience or the critics. The scenario was pretty much the same with Diljit Dosanjh and Kriti Sanon starrer Arjun Patiala. And now it seems Parineeti Chopra and Sidharth Malhotra's second out together, Jabariya Jodi is going to join the bandwagon. Jabariya Jodi Box Office Collection Day 2: Parineeti Chopra and Sidharth Malhotra Starrer Witnesses Slight Growth on Saturday

The romantic comedy arrived in cinema halls on Friday and received a lukewarm response from the critics. The movie witnessed a poor occupancy and then ended up collecting Rs 3.15 crore on day 1. Though Jabariya Jodi witnessed some growth on Saturday, it hardly mattered as the first-day figure was too low. Now coming to Sunday, again the film did better than it did on Friday and Saturday. Still, the three-day total of Pari and Sid starrer is hardly any good.

Earlier in the day, film trade analyst Sumit Kadel took Twitter and wrote on his timeline, #JabariyaJodi First weekend - ₹ 11 cr nett. DISASTER." Further, Boxofficeindia.com has also reported, "Jabariya Jodi had a poor weekend of 11 crore nett as the film could not really grow over the weekend after a dull start. The trend of the film is poor although collections should hold on Monday due to Bakrid. Post Bakrid it will be a downhill picture and then a quick end to its run as the new releases come on Thursday. " Jabariya Jodi Box Office Collection Day 1: Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra's Latest Release Is Off to a Dull Start, Mints Rs 3.15 Crore

Directed by Prashant Singh and jointly produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor and Shailesh R Singh, Jabariya Jodi revolves around the concept of groom kidnapping which is still very prevalent in some parts of northern India.
