Prashant Singh's directorial venture Jabariya Jodi has hit the screens and as predicted the film has gotten off to a dull start at the Indian box office. Starring Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra in the lead, the romantic comedy opened to not so good reviews from the critics yesterday and then witnessed around 8 to 10% occupancy during the morning shows across India. The rom-com did perform slightly better during the evening and night shows, however, the film still failed to pack a solid punch at the ticket windows. Jabariya Jodi Box Office Collection: Parineeti Chopra and Sidharth Malhotra's Romantic Comedy Witnesses Poor Occupancy

Coming to the opening day figures, Jabariya Jodi minted Rs 3.15 crore on Friday which is a fairly decent number. Revealing the same, well-known trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to the microblogging site Twitter and wrote, "#JabariyaJodi is dull on Day 1... Needs miraculous growth on Day 2 and 3 for a respectable weekend total... Fri ₹ 3.15 cr. India biz."

Boxofficeindia.com, on the other hand, has reported, "The Saturday numbers should be still up for the film but its unlikely to be the type of growth that means a sustained run, the numbers of the film are lower than films like The Accidental Prime Minister and Thackeray and in the same range as dud film Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. Jabariya Jodi has a holiday on Monday for Bakrid which should keep the collections steady on Monday but that hardly matters at these levels unless Saturday doubles up which is unlikely." Box Office Prediction: Parineeti Chopra and Sidharth Malhotra's Jabariya Jodi To Witness an Average Opening at the Ticket Windows? Find Out!

Going by the current trending of the film, it seems Jabariya Jodi will wrap up its business sooner than later as Mission Mangal and Batla House are set to arrive in cinema halls on August 15, Thursday. This means Pari and Sid starrer has only four days to rake in as much moolah as possible without facing stiff competition at the domestic box office.
