Veteran actor Kishore Pradhan passed away in the morning. He was 83. He has acted in several Hindi and Marathi films apart from being a prolific stage actor. His contributions to the entertainment industry and the field of arts are irreplaceable. May his soul rest in peace. His legacy in the form of his plays and his movies will forever be cherished. One of the last memorable performances of Kishore Pradhan was in the movie Jab We Met. His on-screen banter with Kareena Kapoor Khan will always tickle our funny bone. Only the way he said the dialogue, "Akeli ladki khuli hui tijori ki tarah hoti hai", has made it iconic.

Kishore Pradhan had spent his childhood in Nagpur. Apart from being a talented actor, he was also an intelligent scholar.  He graduated from Morris College, Nagpur. He then studied Economics. He also obtained a two-year research scholarship in Master of Social Sciences from Tata Institute of Social Sciences.

He started acting during his college days taking part in festivals and street plays. He started his own drama group called Natraj in college. The actor was last seen in the Marathi movie, Shubh Lagna Savdhaan.
