Wait, Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan aren't done yet! After getting into a legal mess for over two years, constantly maligning each other's name, Kangana and Hrithik are back against each other, but this time at the box office. Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika and Hrithik Roshan's Super 30 are both set to release on January 25, 2019.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to social media this morning to announce the release date of Kangana's next. In the tweet he said, "Mark the date: #Manikarnika -The Queen Of Jhansi to release on 25 Jan 2019 [Republic Day]... Stars Kangna Ranaut... Directed by Krish... Produced by Zee Studios and Kamal Jain."
Hrithik and team Super 30 had locked in the dates long back when Vikas Bahl had officially announced the release date. Super 30, based on mathematician Anand Kumar, was initially scheduled to release in November this year. However, the dates got pushed to January 25. Now, despite knowing that, we wonder why Manikarnika makers decided to release their film on the same date.
We don't know if it was the filmmakers or Kangana Ranaut herself who decided on the release date of the film but we think it is a bad idea! Whenever two Bollywood movies clash at the box office, one of them obviously suffers. Also, considering that neither Kangy not Hrithik have indulged into a "fight" since quite some time, it would be advisable for one of them to change the release date of their film, to avoid any sort of controversy. But the question is, who will make that move? What do you guys think? Tell us in the comments section below.
