After Sonali Bendre, Tahira was the latest name to come out in open and embrace this harsh reality but was determined to fight it like a fierce warrior at the same time. While Ayushmann was busy with his professional commitments, his wife was battling cancer but she's thankful for it made her a stronger person. Tahira was always vocal about her fight and why she's not someone who would give up so easily. Earlier in an interview with IANS, Ayushmann had revealed how this year was nothing short of a roller coaster ride for him. He had said, "I had two back-to-back films coming and I was going through a professional high and I was wondering life is so beautiful and suddenly this happened, so it is a great leveller. Life is a great leveller," he said. "I was giving her my time, of course. In the morning I was promoting my films, in the nights I was with her in the hospital... It is not easy," he added.
