Speaking exclusively to LatestLY.com, Vivek expressed his sheer excitement about the same as he said, "I’m humbled and deeply honoured to be a part of Inside Edge, the first Indian web series to have achieved such huge international recognition. It's a proud feeling that the digital show has been nominated at the 46th International Emmy Awards. When you have an idea which is universal, it does not matter where you belong to, it will still resonate and Inside Edge has just proved that. It was a memorable experience working with the talented team of the show including my costars Richa Chadda, Angad Bedi, Sanjay Suri, Tanuj Virwani and Siddhant Chaturvedi, producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani from Excel Entertainment and creator of the show, Karan Anshuman."

Created by Karan Anshuman, the first season of the web series revolved around the ups and down of a cricket team, with greed, ambition and corruption at its core.

The awards will take place in New York on November 19. This year, some 44 shows across 11 categories and 20 countries have been nominated.
