Ishq Vishk Rebound released in theatres on June 21. Starring Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan, Jibraan Khan, Naila Grrewal in key roles, the movie revolves around the lives of these young people who become enmeshed in a web of friendship, love and self-discovery. Helmed by Nipun Dharmadhikari, right from posters to the trailer, the movie created a lot of hype. But is the teen drama yay or nay? Reviews haven't been kind. Critics have largely panned Ishq Vishk Rebound, with some calling it 'loveless.' Let's delve deeper into the reviews to see what went wrong. Ishq Vishk Rebound Trailer: Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan and Jibraan Khan Stuck in Gen-Z Love Triangle in This Rom-Com (Watch Video).

Koimoi: "‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’ had the potential to be an intriguing exploration of friendships and love in the context of modern relationships. However, it falls short due to its weak script, lack of genuine character development, and poor execution. It’s a missed opportunity to create a memorable rom-com for the Gen Z audience."

India Today: "The major problem with the film is not that it makes rebound seem 'frivolous'. But, it makes a half-hearted attempt or resorts to tokenism to entertain. It is funny and cheesy, yes! But all of this without a soul, feels like a wasted opportunity." Times Now: "The audience today has unlimited access to films and shows that talk about friendship, love, breakups, and rebounds. To stand out in the crowd, a film has to deliver something out of the ordinary, which is not the case with Ishq Vishk Rebound. However, it is a breezy watch that does not require extra thought or attention to detail, which, in addition to the short run-time, is an advantage in the rom-com genre."

India TV: "If you are planning to watch Ishq Vishk Rebound in theatres this weekend, you can easily avoid it and save 106 minutes of your precious time of your life. Rather sit outside a college and enjoy a good  Ishq Vishk vibe. If you are a Rohit Saraf fan, I would suggest you watch his popular films like The Sky Is Pink and Hichki, instead of watching the spiritual sequel to the 2003 film. Out of five, we give it 2 stars."
