Ishaan Khattar and Janhvi Kapoor to Recreate Sairat’s Zingaat Song in Karan Johar’s Remark of Dhadak
The makers have started shooting for the song in Mumbai and will complete it within 2-3 days.
Marathi blockbuster film Sairat had wooed audiences all over the country quite well in 2016. Along with the film the soundtrack of the film too did well and the song ‘Zingaat’ had everyone going frenzy. We know that Karan Johar is now making the remake of the film with Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan Khattar and Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles. Shashank Khaitan will be directing the film. But a new update from the film is, the director is going to keep the song ‘Zingaat’ but it will have some twist.
The song will firstly be in Hindi so the lyrics will be tweaked a little. The tune of the song will be kept the same but to suit the audiences, there will be a change of words and there is a possibility if the composers find a better word, then ‘Zingaat’ too will be replaced in the song. Well, so an equally catchy phrase is being worked upon. Farah Khan, who has done some brilliant choreographies for such songs, will be given the responsibility for this track as well. "Unlike the original, where the choreography was all about freestyle dance number, Farah will choreograph some signature moves for the Hindi version. Ishaan and Jhanvi are terrific dancers so it will be great to see them groove together," as per the IBT report. The makers have started shooting for the song in Mumbai and will complete it within 2-3 days. Farah Khan is ensuring she is training them well and the team is sweating it out.
Farah gave a small glimpse on her Instagram:
Other than being co-stars there are a lot more rumours about Ishaan and Janhvi’s closeness off the sets. The two have been seen together often. But it is also being said that it is the makers who want the pair to be seen in public. Let us wait to see how good their chemistry looks onscreen. Right now, we are just as curious to see how the remake of the popular track turns out? Are you’ll ready to groove to Bollywood Zingaat?
