It has been almost two years now that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are dating each other. The two would be coming together for the first time in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. The film is all set to release in summers 2020. Besides for their film, fans are also keen to know about their much-speculated wedding. It has been a while now since rumours about Ranbir-Alia's marriage has been going on.

The latest reports suggests that the Kapoor lad has met girlfriend Alia Bhatt’s father, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and asked her hand in marriage. As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, Ranbir Kapoor has taken a step ahead with regards to his wedding with Alia. If the reports are to be believed, the wedding could take place in 2020. This news will definitely leave all fans of Ranbir and Alia excited. If you remember, earlier there were reports of the Kapoors and the Bhatts meeting a pundit to fix the couple’s wedding date as soon as Rishi Kapoor returns to India.

In an interview to BT when Alia Bhatt was asked about her relationship with RK she was quoted saying, “I’m walking on stars and clouds right now. The best part is that we’re two individuals who are living our own professional lives in its full form right now. He’s shooting continuously. So am I. It’s not a situation where you’ll see us constantly together. That’s the true mark of a comfortable relationship.
