Is Parineeti Chopra Having a Tough Time Prepping for Saina Nehwal Biopic? Read Details Here

Directed by Amole Gupte, the Saina Nehwal biopic starring Parineeti Chopra in the lead, is expected to release in early 2020.

There were lot of rumours going around Parineeti Chopra’s upcoming projects. During one of the promotions for her recently released film Kesari, the actress even dropped hints that a big announcement would soon be made. While many assumed that it would be related to RRR, it turned out something totally unexpected. The announcement was related to Saina Nehwal biopic. Shraddha Kapoor who was earlier roped in for this project, had stepped down citing difficulty in managing other projects and that’s how Parineeti bagged a role in this biopic. Now in an interview to a leading tabloid, the actress has opened up about her badminton training sessions and other related details. It is definitely not easy to perfect in badminton like the ace player, Saina Nehwal. It requires years and years of hard work. But Parineeti Chopra is trying her best to hone her badminton skills for the film in the limited period.  Pari has already started with the practice sessions with the coach and her co-star, Eshan Naqvi. Initially she will work on perfecting the game and then will begin with the shoot, which is expected to begin in three to four months. While speaking to Mumbai Mirror, Parineeti Chopra revealed, “Prep usually starts early because we have booked courts in slots when there are no distractions of any kind. We start at 6am and wind up by 8am. I will have to live this regimented life for the next nine months but I am pretty kicked about it. I want to do justice to the film and to Saina.” Parineeti also mentioned how this film was one of her dream projects and how happy she is to do this film. Directed by Amole Gupte, the makers are aim to release this film in early 2020.
