Here's the biggest clash of 2019. Kangana Ranaut's 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi' and Hrithik Roshan's 'Super 30' are standing against each other. Now it is a no brainer as to why it is called as the biggest clash of Bollywood. The stars who were once allegedly in a relationship, got into an ugly legal battle, exposing each other publicly. Now, both these supremely talented actors competing against each other at the box office is surely a huge thing for the fans! Was it a deliberate attempt from Kangana's side? The producer of her film, Kamal Jain answers.
As reported in The Telegraph, Jain said that Manikarnika deserved to get an Independence Day release or Republic Day release. However, as they missed the August date for it, they booked the slot for Republic day weekend.
Now, Kangana and Hrithik's films will clash at the box office on January 25, 2019. The rivalry between both of them is known to everyone. After taking a lot of jibes at each other, the matter finally calmed down on its own. However, we won't be surprised if the old wounds surface again during this clash, next year! There is no statement on this clash from Hrithik Roshan or Super 30 makers as of now.
Speaking of films, the curly haired star plays Rani Laxmibai aka Jhansi ki rani in this period drama directed by Krish. It also has TV actress Ankita Lokhande in a pivotal role. On the other hand, Hrithik will be essaying the role of mathematician Anand Kumar in this Vikas Bahl directed film.
