In his tweet, Taran revealed, "IT'S OFFICIAL... Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali... #Inshallah release date finalized: #Eid 2020... SLB teams up with Salman after a long gap... #Inshallah stars Salman and Alia Bhatt. #Eid2020." As Taran said in his tweet, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Salman Khan are reuniting after a long gap for Inshallah. 11 years to be exact. The last movie they worked together was Saawariya in 2008, where Salman had a cameo. Salman was also the lead in Bhansali's first film, Khamoshi: The Musical, as well as his breakout film, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.
Talking more about Inshallah, it will be for the first time both Salman and Bhansali will be working with the Karan Johar protege, Alia Bhatt. While the pairing of Salman and Alia feels awkward due to the age-gap difference, it is not yet confirmed if there will be a romantic arc between the two. Meanwhile, Salman Khan's latest Eid release, Bharat, has taken off to a rocking start at the box office. Despite facing Dark Phoenix and India's first match at ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, Bharat grossed about Rs 42 crore, making it the highest opening day grosser for Salman. However, the movie has been getting unfavourable reviews which could affect its collections ahead.
