India's Most Wanted Box Office Collection Day 3: Arjun Kapoor Starrer Does Fairly Decent Business in the Opening Weekend, Earns Rs 8.66 Crore

Arjun's film again witnessed some growth on day 3, Sunday.

India's Most Wanted, starring Arjun Kapoor in the lead, has been trying to sustain itself at the Indian box office since day 1. The action thriller arrived in cinema halls on May 24 and got off to a dull start as it opened to very low occupancy during the morning shows. The film ended up raking in Rs 2.10 crore on Friday which was pretty much predicted by the trade pundits. While the movie had a tough time finding the audience on the first day, it showed slight growth on day 2 as it minted Rs 3.03 crore. On Sunday, India's Most Wanted again performed better and managed to rake in Rs 3.53 crore. India's Most Wanted Box Office Collection Day 2: Arjun Kapoor's Film Witnesses Slight Growth on Saturday, Mints Rs 5.13 Crore

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to the microblogging site Twitter a while back and revealed the updated figures saying, "#IndiasMostWanted witnessed growth over the weekend, but not substantial enough... The 3-day total, thus, remains below the mark... Fri 2.10 cr, Sat 3.03 cr, Sun 3.53 cr. Total: ₹ 8.66 cr. India biz. #IMW."

Since Arjun starrer hasn't even touched the Rs 10 crore mark in the first three days, it will have to cover a lot of ground in the coming weeks to ensure at least an average lifetime collection. Apart from Raj Kumar Gupta's directorial venture, two more films released on May 24 and both of them are currently faring well than India's Most Wanted. While Vivek Oberoi's PM Narendra Modi is slightly ahead of Arjun's film at the ticket windows, its Will Smith starrer Aladdin which is actually ruling the box office in India currently.
