In an interesting casting coup, it has been announced that Varun Dhawan and Katrina Kaif would be playing the main leads in what is termed as India's biggest dance film in 3D. While the '3D' tag does scare us, after having gone through this year's Welcome to New York 3D, this looks like an interesting movie, since it is directed by choreographer turned filmmaker Remo D'Souza. While many call it ABCD 3, we are not sure if this movie belongs to the franchise though it also stars ABCD staples like Prabhu Deva and Dharmendra Yelande.

Speaking of the main leads, it would be the first time Varun Dhawan and Katrina Kaif be paired in a movie. Varun Dhawan has already been part of a dance movie before, as he was the main lead in ABCD 2 (that had Shraddha Kapoor as the female lead). This would be the first time Katrina Kaif be doing a dance-based movie though she has done some amazing dance routines before.

Here are five of our favourite dance tracks picturised on Katrina Kaif that will definitely make us the right candidate for India's biggest dance film.

Sheila Ki Jawani

Movie: Tees Maar Khan

If there is any reason why people still remember this utterly drab comedy, it is purely for this song. Katrina Kaif's belly-dancing is the only paisa vasool shot in the entire movie.

Chikni Chameli

Movie: Agneepath

Normally, recreated versions of popular songs find hate about netizens (check out what Twitter is saying about Baaghi 2's Ek Do Teen). But Katrina's special dance song in the revenge drama is much loved, thanks to her energetic dancing and the the fact that the makers roped in the original composers to recreate the song.

Kala Chashma

Movie: Baar Baar Dekho

Like Tees Maar Khan, Baar Baar Dekho is a movie people hate, save that groovy track played towards the end of the movie. Katrina Kaif's moves are just fab, and they even seem to inspire her co-star Sidharth Malhotra, who is not exactly a great mover himself, to go the extra mile here. Too bad, the rest the movie lacked the energy of this song.

Bang Bang Title Track

Movie: Bang Bang

Hrithik Roshan is considered one of the best dancers in town, and if you manage to match up to his steps with the same amount of fervour and skill, then you are equally best. Guess what this title track of the movie has to say about Katrina's dancing prowess!

Zara Zara Touch Me

Movie: Race

The song that showed us Katrina has got the moves. Mixing sensuality with some really good choreography, this remains one of Katrina's sexiest dance songs, if not the sexiest.

Varun Dhawan and Katrina Kaif's movie is expected to go on floors and is slated to be released on November 8, 2019.
