IIFA Awards 2024 Winners List: Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji Named Best Actor; Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ Wins Best Film
The IIFA Awards 2024, held in Abu Dhabi, showcased Bollywood stars getting recognised for their contribution to cinema in the previous year. Shah Rukh Khan was the host of the grand ceremony and also won the Best Actor Award for 'Jawan', while Rani Mukerji won Best Actress for 'Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway'.
Some of the biggest names in Bollywood gathered at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi for the second day of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards 2024. The star-studded night was hosted by none other than Shah Rukh Khan. Joining him as co-hosts were Karan Johar and Vicky Kaushal. The awards night saw several actors in attendance, including Rekha, Hema Malini, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rani Mukerji, Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Ananya Panday and Janhvi Kapoor, among others. The IIFA Awards 2024 were telecast on Zee TV on November 10. Coming to the award wins, Shah Rukh Khan took home the Best Actor trophy for his action-loaded performance in Jawan. Rani Mukerji won the Best Actress award for her stirring portrayal of a strong mother in Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway. Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, won the Best Film award. Vidhu Vinod Chopra won the Best Director award for his inspirational biopic, 12th Fail, starring Vikrant Massey. Special honours were also bestowed upon eminent cinema icons.
