First things first. Watching Rekha perform onscreen is a sight to behold. You never want it to end and she delivers a 20-minute performance making sure you are amazed from the very second she sets foot on the stage. She takes you back in time and how! You cannot stop looking at her moves and that grace while she is performing to all the evergreen numbers of her time. But this year's IIFA was more than just that. Though Rekha's performance was the most beautiful act we've seen in a long time. Arjun Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol made us want to dance our pre-Monday blues away!

While Bobby's performance started off with a bang, giving us a major 90s feel but took it away instantly after he started dancing to Race 3 songs. Karan Johar's hosting gets a little exhausting in between but Ritiesh Deshmukh makes up for it. Anil Kapoor and Boney Kapoor get emotional talking about the late Sridevi as they receive the Best Actress in a Leading Role on her behalf. It is an emotional moment and it will definitely make you cry if you have been an ardent fan of the late actress. Check out the complete list of winners at IIFA 2018 here.

We did miss a lot of celebs from Bollywood who have been a part of the awards show all these years. We missed Alia Bhatt, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Shahid Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and a lot of other celebs at the awards night. We wonder why the attendance was such a disappointment this year!

Yay!

- Rekha

- Karan Johar's sangeet segment that had celebs from the audience dance on the stage

- Overall performances

- Karan Johar and Ritiesh Deshmukh's hosting was lively and entertaining

- Of course, the glamour element gets full points

Nay!

- Certain funny bits about KJo were too monotonous and done to death

- Bobby's performance started off really well but ended with Race 3

Final Verdict

It was an entertaining night and IIFA 2018 didn't disappoint us. They kept us entertained through performances, humour and of course, the awards. What was your favourite part of tonight's episode? Tell us in the comments below and stay tuned with us for more.
