If Saif Ali Khan Replaces Salman Khan in Race 4, All We Can Say is That 'Karma is B***h'
Producer Ramesh Taurani has apparently approached Saif Ali Khan to star in Race 4.
We can very well imagine Saif Ali Khan having that smirk on his face while reading these latest reports. The actor who was replaced by Salman Khan in his Race franchise is reportedly asked to come back on board after the recent film's debacle. Unless you are living under the rock, you would know that Race 3 was a grand disaster at the box office. Yes, it was one of the top-grossing films of 2018 but that's when we take the overseas collections into consideration. The movie was heavily criticised for its non-sensical content and rest, as they say, is history. While a producer would think twice before dropping an actor like Salman from his movie, Ramesh Taurani has already done what seemed impossible. After the success of Race and Race 3, the producer is trying hard to get Saif back in his franchise for a sequel. According to a report by ZoomTv.com, now that Saif is approached for the film, Salman will definitely bid adieu to the franchise and we wonder if this is good news or bad. Earlier in interaction with PTI, Race 3 director Remo D'Souza had revealed details about script changes and how it was modified keeping Salman in mind. "When Shiraz Ahmed wrote the script it had the grey role. 'Race' franchise is about grey characters but we can't show Salman in grey character and other things were also happening. Because of all that.. It just went little...", he said. Well, we hope Saif gives his nod to this franchise and essay the role that was always meant for him. Can't wait to see his dapper avatar on the big screen once again.
