Hrithik Roshan has been having a rough couple of days. A couple of Hindi publications had accused him of flirting with Disha Patani, leading to her walking out of a movie. Not only did Hrithik deny any such incident happened, even Disha came out in his defence. Hrithik also found himself embroiled in a cheating case, where a stockist named R Muralidharan alleged that the actor and his brand HRX had duped him of Rs 21 lakh.

In his complaint, R Muralidharan alleged that the actor's designer brand company had promised him stocks that they didn't deliver. He also alleged that they had also dissolved the marketing firm associated with the delivery.

However, in a clarification statement by Hrithik's company, they denied any such foul play in the matter. The statement, as reported by PINKVILLA, read, "Hrithik Roshan and HRX Brand have no association with the matter in question in news. HRX Brand has been licensed to Global Fragrances for limited purposes. The license was terminated by HRX Brand because of defaults by Global. Neither Hrithik Roshan nor HRX Brand is responsible to Muralidharan, the complainant. Neither HRX Brand nor Hrithik Roshan were responsible for engaging Muralidharan, the Complainant, and are not liable for Global Fragrances’ actions."

A case under Section 420 of Indian Penal Code (IPC) [cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property' is registered against Hrithik and those 8 accused by the Kodungaiyur police station in Chennai.
