Salman Khan has his own ways to impress his fans. With each film, he brings some new promotional tactic to the table which turns out superhit amongst his fanbase. After crooning a song or two, bhai has now turned into a lyricist for his next film Race 3. The franchise has been taken forward by Remo D'Souza with a plethora of new stars. After 'Heeriye', here comes the second song of the film named 'Selfish'. This song has been penned down by the Dabangg Khan himself. But what made him do that? Here's the back story!

In a statement, the Tiger Zinda Hai actor revealed, "While discussing the creative for the song, I penned down a few thoughts on paper in sync with the plot of the film, which is about the selfishness within the family. When the music director Vishal Mishra heard it, he got extremely excited and said he will come back with a tune for the same. I said, ‘But this is a part of a conversation and not lyrics’. However, he insisted to use the thoughts as it is for the song. Everyone loved the thoughts and wanted it to be used for the song.”

Race and Race 2 were blessed with two extremely mesmerizing songs, 'Pehli Nazar' and 'Be Intehaan'. These two were sung by Pakistani singer Atif Aslam and became chart-busters overnight. Selfish is also sung by the same singing sensation, so we already know the fate of the song now, don't we? Race 3 is all set to shatter the screens on June 15 this year.
