The Bollywood buffs will soon see another refreshing pair on the big screens, Shruti Haasan and Vidyut Jammwal. The two have been roped in for Mahesh Manjrekar’s upcoming film, Power. It was last year when trade analyst Taran Adarsh had shared that Mahesh Manjrekar would be helming another gangster drama. Vidyut had even shared a picture from the sets of her first day shoot. And now a picture of the actress is doing rounds of social media, in which her gangster avatar has been revealed. Shruti Haasan and Vidyut Jammwal would be playing the role of gangsters in the film. The hottie who is playing his love interest, is seen holding a revolver in her hand in this poster. Talking about the film producer Vijay Galani told Mid-Day, “The film is in post-production. After we announced the project last April, we preferred to wrap up the film and then talk about it. Shooting concluded in December. We had not titled the film as we were keen on a name that would make an impact. There is nothing better than Power.” Vidyut Jammwal’s Next Will Be a Romantic Action Thriller Titled Khuda Hafiz.

About Vidyut Jammwal and Shruti Haasan’s role in Power the producer further added, “But things go wrong in their life. Haasan begins to wield guns as well. While Vidyut is known for his high-octane action scenes, this time, Shruti will be seen in a new avatar and in gangster mode.” This action drama is expected to hit the big screens in July this year.
