It’s just another year of Holi but the enthusiasm around the festival of colors is brand new as ever. We, desi people have a habit of celebrating the festivals along with the relatable songs. Since Holi is one of the energetic festivals, the songs are a huge part of it. Bollywood has always portrayed this festival of joy through different parameters and ways and we unknowingly are accustomed to listen to those on the occasion, religiously. Also, we Indians, just have this awesome habit of celebrating the festivals together with the neighbours and the friends in the locality. On such events, playing music is a must! Then comes into the picture, these iconic Holi Old & New Bollywood Holi Party Dance Numbers which are as if mandatory as much as the colour powders and water balloons!

Badri Ki Dulhania: Badrinath Ki Dulhania- Varun Dhawan- Alia Bhatt’s revamped song is a mixture of melody and rap. The song has a proper Holi vibe and we wonder who can avoid dancing on the tunes of this track!

Balam Pichkari: Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani- This energetic number still remains the favourite Holi song of the new- gen. Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor’s this peppy track has found the top position amongst the list of songs based on this occasion. The colourful vibe and catchy steps makes it easier for the color laden people to shake their leg easily.

Rang Barse: Silsila- We don’t think that we even need to explain why this song composed by Shiv- Hari, is a must on the auspicious occasion. Yesteryear’s hit Jodi Amitabh Bachchan, Rekha and their romance in the colourful atmosphere is something no true- Bollywood fan can get over. Of course, then there is the voice of the legendary actor himself with his signature hook- step.

Holi Ke Din: Sholay- Dare you not give a miss to one of the most celebrated movie’s famous song. The masterpiece of that era would be incomplete without this track by music maestro R D Burman. The shades of the song are still intact in the hearts of the fans and no other song, I repeat, no other song can replace this one!

Hori Khele Raghuveera: Baghban- Again, an Amitabh Bachchan track, that cannot go unnoticed on this season of splash. Hema Malini and Big B’s romance is so endearing in this soothing track composed by late music director Aadesh Shrivastava. This is that song which even the hesitant public in the group won’t mind grooving upon!
