It seems to be that Bollywood is in a mood for weddings this week, and it doesn't have Valentine's Day in it! After Sonam Kapoor got married to Anand Ahuja and Neha Dhupia got hitched to her bestie Angad Bedi, it is time for composer-singer-actor Himesh Reshammiya to tie the knot the second time. He is marrying his long-time girlfriend, Sonia Kapoor, in the evening of May 11. Congrats to the couple!

Himesh's PR statement confirmed their marriage in their press statement. It read, "Singer and actor Himesh Reshammiya will soon tie the knot with longtime girlfriend Sonia Kapoor. A simple ceremony will be held on the night of 11th May i.e today at his residence. The ceremony will be a close-knit affair with just close family and friends. Himesh’s parents and son Swaym will also be present for the occasion."

As per a report in BollywoodLife, the wedding will be a family-only affair and will be done in Gujarati style. Rakesh Upadhyay, Himesh’s close friend and business partner, had this to say about the marriage to the website, "The marriage is happening tonight at his Lokhandwala apartment. A small mandap has been set up on the terrace. The couple’s parents will be present for the function. Himesh is planning to throw a small get-together for his industry friends in a few days time. His son Swayam will be there. It is a complete Gujarati style wedding. Himesh’s father considers me as a son, so I am attending the marriage."

Sonia Kapoor has been a popular television actress who has been part of many TV shows like Kitty Party, Remix, Sati, Yes Boss and Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai. She and Himesh have been reportedly seeing each other since 2006.

Himesh was earlier married to Komal, whom he divorced in 2017. Their marriage had lasted 22 years.
