Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar are gearing up for the release of the Pati Patni Aur Woh, a remake of the 1978 film of the same name. The trio have already grabbed audiences’ eyeballs with their striking chemistry in the film’s trailer. But will it be a hit like the original film (starring Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha, Ranjeeta Kaur), one will have to wait and watch. Talking about the remake, you’d be surprised to know that Kartik aka Chintu Tyagi has not watched the cult classic yet, and there’s a major reason behind it. While many actors would watch the original film while prepping up for a remake, looks like Kartik Aaryan decided to opt another way. In an interview to a leading daily, Kartik Aaryan revealed why he didn’t watch the 1978 film, directed by BR Chopra. About it he told BT, “The makers have picked only the basic premise from the original film (by the same name) and changed the other elements around it. Pati Patni Aur Woh is produced under the banners of T-Series and BR Studios. Kartik Aaryan would be seen playing the role of a government employee from Kanpur, married to Vedika Tyagi (Bhumi Pednekar). Things turn upside down in his life when he meets his colleague Tapasya Singh (Ananya Panday). The rom-com Pati Patni Aur Woh is all set to be released on December 6.
