Kajol returns to Bollywood big screen after a gap of three years with Helicopter Eela. She is playing the mother to a collegian, played by National award winner Riddhi Sen (who also had an important role in Sanjay Dutt's comeback film, Bhoomi). Directed by Pradeep Sarkar, Helicopter Eela is about the relationship between a possessive mother and her annoyed son, after she joins his college as a student. The new song from the film, Dooba Dooba (doesn't that name remind you of that lovely Strings song?), might give you clues about it. Bengali star Tota Roy Chowdhary, who was also seen in Kahaani 2, is playing Kajol's husband in the film. Dooba Dooba is about living in beautiful memories and Amit Trivedi has composed a lilting tune to complement the idea. Sunidhi Chauhan and Arijit Singh do a pretty good job in making Dooba Dooba mellow for your eyes. Helicopter Eela is produced by Kajol's husband, Ajay Devgn. The movie also stars Neha Dhupia. It was supposed to come out last month, however, the director's ill-health forced the makers to shift the release date to October 12, where it will clash with Tumbbad, FryDay and Jalebi.
