Gully Boy has been receiving rave reviews not just from the critics but also the audiences. While Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt's performances have been loved by everyone, another actor to emerge as a breakout star from the film has been Siddhant Chaturvedi who played the character of MC Sher. The actor even received the most coveted hand-written note that megastar Amitabh Bachchan sent for his performance in the film. Things seem to be looking much brighter for Siddhant already as another big news seems to be on the way.
Buzz is that the actor has been roped in as a lead for Excel Entertainment's next film. There hasn't been an official confirmation on the same yet but it is possible that given Siddhant's popularity, the makers would be willing to cast him in a much meatier role. In recent times, we have seen actors such as Kartik Aaryan, Vicky Kaushal who went to become more successful after making impressive debuts and looks like the newest entrant in this list will be Siddhant. The actor has worked with Excel even before his film debut as he starred in the Emmy nominated web series Inside Edge.

Gully Boy is continuing to entertain the audiences as it approaches its second weekend. The film directed by Zoya Akhtar also starred Vijay Raaz, Amruta Subhash, Kalki Koechlin, Vijay Verma in key roles.
