Harshvardhan, Sonam Kapoor to Clash at the Box Office; Bhavesh Joshi Superhero to Now Arrive on the Same Day as Veere Di Wedding

May 25 was supposed to be a clash between Harshvardhan Kapoor and John Abraham. Harshvardhan Kapoor's second film as a lead actor, Bhavesh Joshi Superhero, was to arrive on this date, competing with John Abraham's realistic thriller, Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran. However, the clash is not happening. Instead, Harshvardhan Kapoor's movie would rather clash with his sister's film on June 1.
Bhavesh Joshi Superhero has now been rescheduled to release on June 1, the same day as the release of Sonam Kapoor's Veere Di Wedding. The makers of the vigilante movie have announced this new development through their new poster. There was no reason given as to what prompted this change in release plans, and the fact that this means a clash at the box office between siblings.

On the other hand, Veere Di Wedding is a light-hearted 'not a chick flick' that celebrates friendship. Apart from Sonam Kapoor, the movie also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania. Veere Di Wedding is directed by Shashanka Ghosh.
