Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt's Gully Boy has been in the theatres for a week and so far their film has done good business at the Indian box office. Though on day 7, the collections were on the lower side, the musical drama will still enter the Rs 100 crore club quite easily. Directed by Zoya Akhtar, the film released on February 14 and took a good opening after impressing the critics big time. On day 1, Gully Boy minted Rs 19.40 crore and left behind Padmaavat in the box office race. The film continued its good run the over the first weekend as well and surpassed the Rs 50 crore mark in no time. Gully Boy Box Office Collection Day 6: Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt's Film Mints Over Rs 89 Crore.

If Ranveer and Alia's film doesn't witness anymore drop in its collection then it will reach surpass the Rs 100 crore mark today itself. According to Boxofficeindia.com, Zoya Akhtar's directorial venture raked in Rs 6 crore on day 7, bringing its total week-one collection to Rs 95.10 crore in India. The report stated, "Gully Boy had a big drop on Wednesday as it collected 6 crore nett apprx as the places where it is doing excellent business like Mumbai and Pune came of a minor holiday and others like Rajasthan, UP and CI which are bad are dropping fast anyway." Ranveer Singh’s BIGGEST Box Office Openers: Gully Boy Beats Padmaavat to Grab the Second Spot, Simmba Still on Top.

While Ranveer starrer rap drama will continue to draw the audience in the urban areas, the film may struggle to get cash registers ringing in smaller cities going forward. Plus, Ajay Devgn's family entertainer Total Dhamaal is arriving in theatres tomorrow. So its very much likely that the new release will affect Gully Boy to a certain extent at the ticket windows.
