Govinda, Yashwardhan Ahuja at Janmedra Ahuja's Funeral - See Pics

Filmmaker Janmendra Ahuja, who was Govinda's nephew, passed away two days back, on Wednesday. His body was found at his residence in Versova, Mumbai. His relative Kashmera Shah was the first to confirm the news and reveal that the death is due to natural causes. Later several reports suggested that the cause of death was a cardiac arrest. Janmendra was 34. His funeral was held on Thursday afternoon at Pawan Hans Crematorium in Mumbai. Govinda and his son Yashvardhan Ahuja were present at the funeral. Krushna Abhishek was also spotted. The family looked visibly distraught over the loss of their loved one. We send deepest condolences and prayers to the family of the deceased.

Janmendra, also known as Dumpy, was the adoptive son of Govinda's brother Kirtikumar, who is a director and actor. Janmendra was aspiring to be a filmmaker himself but only has one film to his credit, titled Jahaan Jaaeyega Humein Paayaega. He had also worked as assistant director on the sets of the film, Pyaar Deewana Hota Hai, and had also written the songs for the same.

Janmendra did not have a strong social media presence and seems like he lived a private life. Not much can be found about him in the media apart from a court case that was reported by TOI in 2006.  May his soul rest in peace.
