Good Newwz picked up and how. Friday was below expectations but since then, it has only peaked. After a massive jump on Saturday, the film saw another big leap in numbers to Rs 25.65 crore. That brought the total to a good Rs 64.99 crore. This is Akshay Kumar's third biggest opening weekend this year. It has defeated Housefull 4 which had earned Rs 46.50 crore in the first three days. Only if the film had taken a good headstart of over Rs 20 crore, this number could have been even better. Guess the audience took their time to warm up to the film. Luckily for the film, they did so quickly enough. Monday will see a good haul to because the festive spirit has set in. It will benefit heavily on Tuesday and Wednesday which will help the film close the first week on a good note. It won't be wrong to predict that the film will be able to earn Rs 100 crore by the end of its first-week thanks to the holiday.

Akshay Kumar had a great year today. He got his first Rs 200 crore film with Mission Mangal. Housefull 4 was almost there with little over Rs 194 crore in its pocket but apparently the numbers aren't the real ones. So you can't be too sure. Kesari did great business too. So the man has already given the industry almost Rs 500 crore this year.
Well, Happy Holidays Akshay Kumar! You have earned it!
