There is a reason why Akshay Kumar is called this generation's Manoj Kumar. Both are known for portraying nationalistic characters in their movies. Well, it's upto you to do if you are a fan of Akshay Kumar's 'nationalism', but it has worked pretty well for the actor in making a strong fan-base for himself. His upcoming movie, Gold, gives him a pretty good playground to make some really powerful dialogues about our country.

Gold is based in the post-partition era, and is about India's first Olympic gold medal in the field of hockey. Akshay Kumar plays Tapan Das, the man who is responsible for bringing the country to the field and making the achievement happen. In the new dialogue promo released by the makers, when an official points out that Akshay's character is just trying to make his name right, Tapan Das responds by saying they are talking about making India's name better in the world.

Gold is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under their banner, Excel Entertainment, and is directed by Reema Kagti (Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd, Talaash). The movie also stars Mouni Roy, Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh, Sunny Kaushal and Vineet Kumar Singh. The movie is scheduled to release on August 15,
